Building new on a hillside is a different job from building new on a flat lot. Access decides the schedule, the foundation is most of the engineering, and the design gets shaped by what the slope and the setbacks will allow before anybody picks a finish. The houses that come out of it are usually the ones you cannot build anywhere else.
